PODCAST | In this episode we talk about the Australian independent beer movement, which has hit a new pace thanks to the advent of the official Independent Beer label. Will it change things? Will it help Brewers? Will it help drinkers? We ask these questions and more as we try to unravel the present and future of what it means to be independent, particularly in a beer form.

And because we can’t do an episode without it, we talk about the New England style once more, this time through the lens of a Farmhouse ale, laugh at beer rating and description schemes, and celebrate the joy the addition of lactose brings to a beer.

Featured beers: 2018 Fresh Hop Harvest Ale by Bruny Island Beer Co. and Wheeze the Juice by Mr Banks Brewing co.
