CAIRNS | The Chamber Room is one of the best spots in Cairns to grab a coffee. It was opened by Kristy and Jason Greenardi, who ditched their corporate jobs to fully immerse themselves in the world of coffee.
Beans are sourced from some of Australia’s best roasters. The espresso bar features blends from Melbourne’s Code Black Coffee. If you want sweetener, Panela rather than sugar, is used. For filter coffee, it’s beans from roasters like Code Black Coffee, Proud Mary, Axil, Ona, Single O, and more. A variety of filter brews are available, made using an EK43, Hario, and Tiamo equipment.
As well as coffee, there’s also a dedication to premium organic tea by Chamellia and drinking chocolate by Melbourne’s Mork. For food, it’s a small menu of pastries and treats.
For those who want to learn more, The Chamber Room also run a brew school. A variety of hands on classes will teach you all that you want to know about the various aspects of specialty coffee.
