KORIYAMA | For most visitors to Fukashima province, the first port of call will be Koriyama Station, in Fukushima’s south. If you’re feeling hungry when your train pulls into the station, you’ll be glad to know that there are some great food options located at the station itself, such as Koori.
Koori offer a range of quick, tasty Japanese meals in a relaxing space, with their specialty being tempura and soba. We recommend ordering one of the set meals, which gives you the best of both worlds. The soba has just the right amount of pull and springiness to it, while the tempura is just the way it should be – lightly battered with no greasy residue. Traditional dipping sauces complete the set and make for a very tasty meal. For those not looking for soba or tempura, a range of other dishes, such as sushi and rice bowls, are also available.
